ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ADMISSION INTO
MASTER OF POPULATION STUDIES (MPS)-SELF FINANCING COURSE
(2005-2006)
DURATION OF : Same as M.Phil Programme of the University.
COURSE
ELIGIBILITY : Any candidate having M.A/M.Sc. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Geography and Home Science from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
HOW TO APPLY : Forms and Prospectus can be obtained in person from P.G. Central Office, Sambalpur University On payment of Rs.400/- only or by Registered Post on application by sending unstamped self addressed envelope (30cm x 20 cm) along with a crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 475/- only payble to “Chairman, P.G. Council” at State Bank of India, Jyoti Vihar Branch or U.CO Bank, Katapali Branch.
The Application form filled in all respect by the applicant must reach the “Head Department of Statisitcs, Sambalpur University” as per advertisement to be followed along with all required documents and crossed Bank Draft or Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 200/- in favour of “Chairman, P.G. Council” in State Bank of India, Jyoti Vihar Branch or U.CO Bank, Katapali Branch
FEE STRUCTURE
In addition to fees and subscriptions prescribed in the Prospectus, a candidate has to pay the following fees in the schedule given below.
