1.  “National seminar Emerging Issues in Gender Studies” organized   in the department of Home Science in collaboration with Parbati Giri Center for Women’s Studies on March 30-31 ,2005 at  Sambalpur University ,Jyoti Vihar,  funded by UGC  and Sambalpur University. Prof.(Mrs) B.K.Mishra acted as the director of the seminar

2.  State level symposium on gender symmetry: challenges encountered Organized   in Department of Home Science, and Parbati Giri Centre of Women Studies in collaboration with department of Anthropology and Sociology On March 10th 2006 at  Sambalpur University ,Jyoti Vihar, funded by UGC  and Sambalpur University Prof.(Mrs) B.K.Mishra acted as the director of the Symposium

 3. Extramural lecture on Women in Contemporary India Organized by the department of Home science in collaboration with Parbati Giri Center for women’s Studies at Jyoti vihar On 21st March 2007 funded by UGC  and Sambalpur University
