6. When was the syllabus last revised by the Department?        

a) Semester System of Teaching and Examination under Course Credit Model was introduced as per the UGC Model Course Curriculum in the year 2004

b) School System of Teaching and Examination under the ‘Bio-Social School”, consisting of the three Departments, Anthropology, Home Science and Sociology, has been introduced wef June, 2008. Under the system in the First  Semester, Five papers of 20 Credit Hours shall be common for the students of  the three participating Departments. Accordingly, courses have been changed  keeping the interdisciplinary nature of understanding social phenomena.
